Football: Get in the Game
The Drama Ministry shares skits and videos throughout the year, and is a vital part of our Sunday morning services and our Easter celebration. The skits shared are done in an effort to compliment and illustrate the theme of the message shared through song and God's Word, and to aid in the overall Worship atmosphere on Sunday mornings.
The Audio/Visual Ministry plays a key role in all of our Worship services, presentations and skits. They use sound, lighting, video, projection, and ProPresenter to aid in creating a worshipful atmosphere that is complimentary to our services.
Worship is an important part of the Ministry of Port Orange Christian Church. The goal of this Ministry is to bring those in attendance to a place where they may continue their worship of God and come to know Him better through the songs and dramas that are shared, and through God's Word. Our hope is that each person will grow to have a closer relationship with God and worship Him, not only in our services, but throughout the week.
The Music Ministry focuses on our Sunday morning services, bell choir (Joyful Ringer's), middle school - adult choir, and the Musical portions of our Easter and Christmas Celebrations.
The goal of this Ministry is not to perform, but instead to help bring those in attendance to a place where they can fully Worship and Praise God. All of the songs led by our worship team and praise band, and all of the songs shared by individuals, the choir or bell choir; are in an effort to illustrate and broaden the message being shared and to create a place of surrender, praise and thanks to God.
On Sundays, we have two services at 9:00am and 10:30am. All of our services have full praise band and worship team. Our praise band currently consists of keyboard, acoustic, electric and bass guitars, piano, drums, and djembe.
