Our Women's Ministry at POCC is called Girlfriends Unlimited. We do Girls Night Out Events, Bible Studies, Ladies Breakfasts, and g! groups. Ladies Bible Study

We just finished Apples of Gold by Betty Huizenga. This was a six week nurturing program, where we gained insight from God's Word and from each other through mentoring. The areas of study were kindness, being a loving wife, being a loving mother, submission to God's Will, purity, and hospitality. Watch for dates for our next Ladies Bible Study!

Girls Night Out

The last Girls Night Out event was Chocolate Lover's Evening. We had a great time of fellowship and sharing chocolate desserts.Watch for information on our next Girls Night Out event.

g! Groups

g! groups are special interest groups in which we get a chance to meet and fellowship with ladies who have similar interests. We currently have 5 groups meeting: cuisine queens, hiker chicks, lit 'n' lattes, quilting, and gamin' gals. The cuisine queens group meets to share recipes, meals, and to try out new restaurants. The hiker chicks enjoy walks and hikes in the different areas around the Volusia County area, as well as participating in Walks for Causes. They are currently raising donations for the JDRF walk in March, and will be participating in the MSABC walk in October. The lit 'n' lattes group is a book club that meets to discuss books and enjoy tea and coffee together. The quilting group teaches others how to quilt, as well as working on projects together. The gamin' gals have a great time of fun a fellowship over card games, board games and the like. If you would like to join one of our g! groups, please e-mail gu@portorangechristian.org.

Ladies Breakfast

The ladies meet every other month on the second Saturday for breakfast. We meet at different locations in the Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach area. The next breakfast will be on Saturday, August 14 at 9:00am. Place Monterey Grill
